Who is it for?

The reusable hygienic mask is recommended for the daily use of healthy people, are a complement to the physical distancing and hygiene measures recommended by the Ministry of Health in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

How is it used?

 For the mask to be effective it must be used correctly as indicated below. The use and removal of children's hygienic masks must be supervised by an adult.

Fitting the mask.
It is recommended to respect the following steps:
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution before handling the mask.
  • Identify the top of the mask.
  • Position the mask on the face, at the level of the nose. If a nose clip is available, adjust it to the nose.
  • Hold the mask from the outside and hold the headgear behind it or on both sides of the ears, without crossing them.
  • Lower the bottom of the mask to the chin.
  • Pinch the nose clip with both hands to adjust it to the nose.
  • Verify that the mask is positioned correctly. For this, it is necessary to verify the sealing and the absence of respiratory discomfort.
  • Once adjusted, do not touch the mask with your hands. If the user needs to touch the mask, they should previously wash their hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution.
Removing the mask.
To avoid contamination when removing a mask, the following steps should be followed:
  • Take off protective gloves.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution.
  • Remove the mask without touching the front of the mask.

  • Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution.

How are reusable hygienic masks washed?

     Washing and drying the mask.

    To guarantee the correct operation of the mask, washing and drying must be in accordance with the following recommendations:
    1. - A complete washing cycle must be carried out (moisten, wash, rinse) with the usual detergent, at a washing temperature of 60º.
    2. - Products that can degrade or damage materials and that diminish their protective capacity must not be used.
    3. - It is recommended that the mask dry completely within 2 hours after washing.
    4. - It should not be dried or sanitized with a microwave oven.
    5. - Both during drying and in the subsequent storage of the mask, environments in which the mask may become contaminated should be avoided.
    Discard the mask after 40 washes or if it deteriorates. After each wash cycle, a visual inspection should be performed (with protective gloves or washed hands). If any damage to the mask is detected (minor adjustment, deformation, wear, etc.) the mask should be discarded.

    When do I have to wash the mask?

    We recommend doing a wash cycle after 48 hours of normal use *. You can use them up to 30 times.
