Who is it for?

The reusable hygienic mask is recommended for the daily use of healthy people, are complementary to the physical distancing and hygiene measures recommended by the Ministry of Health in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

How do you use it?

 For the mask to be effective it must be worn correctly as follows. The use and removal of hygienic masks for children should be supervised by an adult.

Placing the mask.
The following steps are recommended:
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution before handling the mask.
  • Identificar the top part of the mask.
  • Position the mask on the face, at the height of the nose. If nasal clamp is available, adjust it to the nose.
  • Hold the mask from the outside and hold the head harness behind it or on both sides of the ears, without crossing them.
  • Lower the mask to the chin.
  • Pinch the nostril with both hands to fit the nose.
  • Verificar that the mask is placed correctly. For this it is necessary verificar sealing and absence of respiratory discomfort.
  • Once adjusted, do not touch the mask with your hands. If the user needs to touch the mask, they should first wash their hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution.
Removing the mask.
To avoid contamination when removing a mask, the following steps should be followed:
  • Take off your protective gloves.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution.
  • Remove the mask without touching the front of the mask.
  • If the mask is to be reused, see the section "Washing and drying the mask," and if it is to be discarded definitivamente see the section "Removing the mask."
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution.

How do you wash reusable hygienic masks?

     Washing and drying the mask.

    To ensure the proper functioning of the mask the washing and drying must be in accordance with the following recommendations:
    1. - A complete washing cycle (wet, wash, rinse) should be performed with the usual detergent, at a washing temperature of 60º.
    2. - Products that can degrade or damage materials and diminish their protective capacity should not be used.
    3. - It is recommended that the mask be completely dried within 2 hours after washing.
    4. - Do not dry or sanitize with a microwave oven.
    5. - Both during drying, and in the subsequent storage of the mask, the environments in which the mask can be contaminated should be avoided.
    Discard the mask after 40 washes or if it deteriorates. After each washing cycle, a visual inspection should be performed (with protective gloves or washed hands). If any damage to the mask is detected (less adjustment, deformation, wear, etc.) the mask should be discarded.

    When do I have to wash the mask?

    We recommend you do a washing cycle after 48h of normal use *. You can use them up to 30 times.
